Vintage 1950s Lachasse skirt suit

Superb 1950s skirt suit by Lachasse. Fantastic couture quality suit. Skirt has a gorgeous pleated underskirt to the rear and is fully lined. The jacket has a lovely tailored cut with great pocket detail and French cuffs. Fully lined in satin. Some small holes to the left shoulder (see photo) otherwise in stunning condition. Hardie Amies learnt his trade as a tailor at Lachasse. They are still making bespoke suits today with prices starting at around £1600. This is a top quality suit.
